Professionalism Case Series: Equitable Care and Microaggressions Against Learners

The College has released a new CME activity as part of a case series on professionalism. Authored by Quinn Capers IV, MD, FACC, member of ACC’s Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion, the case is intended for adult cardiovascular physicians and internists and will allow learners to recognize the role of individual physicians and hospital systems in ensuring ethical stewardship of health care resources. Participants can earn up to 0.25 Maintenance of Certification points after successful completion of the activity. Start the activity on ACC.org. The ACC recently approved a Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and is working toward implementation this year. Learn more at ACC.org/Diversity.
